Night Before Procedure

Nothing to eat or drink. Unless otherwise instructed by your physician, it is best to have NOTHING at all to eat or drink for SIX HOURS prior to your arrival time. (This includes no gum, chewing tobacco, hard candy or mints.) If you absolutely need to, you can have sips of WATER or CLEAR LIQUIDS ONLY up to TWO HOURS prior to arrival time. (Clear liquids are only those YOU CAN SEE THROUGH-NOT milk or latte drinks.)

Usual medications. You may take your usual medications (including regular pain meds) with only a small sip of water. Bring pain meds with you to take if needed after your procedure. Please bring your updated allergy and medication list each time.

Fever & Health Check. If you have a fever > 101, have any kind of preexisting infection or are taking antibiotics, please let your physician know before your procedure. Your physician will determine if your procedure needs to be postponed until after the infection is resolved.
