Dr. Jeffrey Moore has board certification in both orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. He has treated athletes at all levels of competition for decades.ﾠHe is recognized for his expertise in diagnosing and treating sports injuries. His areas of specialization include shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgeries and adult reconstructive procedures such as shoulder, hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Moore earned his undergraduate degree at the United States Air Force Academy. He completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California, and served his residency at the University of Nebraska/Creighton University School of Medicine. After his residency, Dr. Moore entered the Air Force serving as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Air Force bases both in the Lower 48 and Alaska.
Dr. Moore currently serves as the Alaska delegate for the National Council of American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). He is also past president of medical staff at Alaska Regional Hospital.
